Our Environmental and Energy Policy

Guided by our motto, “clean, healthy, energy-efficient, high-quality, and sustainable production,” we at Technocast Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. consider the protection and continuous improvement of our environment to be an integral part of our work, under the leadership of senior management.

Guided by this philosophy, we direct our activities and operate in accordance with the following principles:

• Compliance with national and international environmental and energy legislation and regulations,
• Ensuring that a clean and healthy environment is passed on to future generations,
• The efficient use of energy and natural resources,

• Prioritizing environmentally friendly and energy-efficient products and services in procurement,
• To reduce emission intensity in the resources used in our production and all our processes, to minimize the generation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, to dispose of waste using safe methods, and to ensure opportunities for recycling and reuse,
• Identifying risks related to environmental and energy emergencies and undertaking efforts to mitigate these risks,
• To use environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies in the design, modernization, and operation of all our processes,
• To raise awareness among all our employees and other stakeholders regarding environmental and energy management, and to establish effective communication within the system,
• Identifying risks and opportunities related to environmental and energy management systems, and increasing efficiency through initiatives in this area,
• Establishing a Sustainable Environment and Energy Management System, setting goals to continuously improve and enhance its performance, and developing management programs for this purpose.

In this regard, we commit to providing the necessary resources to carry out our Environmental and Energy Management activities within our facilities and to ensuring their effectiveness. These principles will be communicated to the public through available channels and will be open to public comment. Management will continuously monitor the implementation of the Environmental and Energy policies and objectives to which it has committed.
