Our Procurement Policy

This Procurement Policy has been developed to ensure that suppliers’ business practices align with Technocast’s values and applicable laws, and all suppliers are required to comply with it.

 

Candidates wishing to become a Technocast supplier undergo the “Supplier Onboarding/Evaluation” process. As part of this process, suppliers are evaluated across multiple steps, including compliance with the Technocast Procurement Policy. If deemed necessary, Technocast reserves the right to conduct on-site audits of its suppliers or have them audited by independent organizations in accordance with the Policy.

 

Under this Policy, Suppliers;

 

Child Labor: Suppliers must not employ workers under the age of 16, in order to ensure children’s healthy development and respect for their right to education, and must comply with the procedures and principles governing the employment of young workers,

 

Recruitment:  Suppliers acknowledge that, to ensure the Company’s ethical standards are maintained, the selection of personnel during the hiring process will consider not only technical and professional expertise but also compliance with Company policies and social responsibility requirements as necessary and important criteria; furthermore, they acknowledge that the policies outlined below regarding the prevention of discrimination, harassment, and mistreatment are in effect starting from the hiring stage,

 

Employee Awareness: Believing that the foundation of social responsibility lies in informed employees, we aim to enhance employees’ awareness by providing them with information on their labor rights, company policies, and working conditions during the hiring process and at regular intervals throughout their employment,

 

Working Hours: In order to ensure productive work and respect for human rights, we commit to complying with applicable laws and regulations regarding working hours and overtime,

 

Wages and Payments: Based on the minimum wage as the minimum wage that allows employees to cover their living expenses; ensuring that wages do not fall below the minimum wage, and that overtime
payments are made in accordance with the law,

 

Compliance with Laws and Other Obligations: Adhering to applicable laws and regulations, and following the guidelines of international corporate social responsibility initiatives,

 

Discrimination: Based on the principle that all employees have equal rights, there shall be no discrimination in matters of hiring, compensation, access to training, or promotion, nor shall there be any termination of employment or retirement based on race, social class, religion, national origin, gender, or political affiliation,

 

Communication: Guided by the belief that success stems from effective communication, we implement practices aimed at maintaining constant communication among employees and between employees and managers, fostering positive relationships between employees and managers, and ensuring the continuity of these relationships,

 

Prevention of Harassment and Abuse: To ensure a peaceful work environment and that employees can work happily, we are committed to preventing verbal, physical, or psychological harassment or coercion,

 

Forced and Compulsory Labor: Labor cannot be made compulsory by contract or in exchange for a debt, and must be based on the principle of voluntariness,

 

Supplier Management:  To remain competitive in both domestic and international markets, we evaluate all national and global supply alternatives, prioritizing local suppliers; based on the belief that all suppliers share equal responsibility, we support suppliers’ social compliance initiatives; and ensure compliance with Conflict Minerals regulations;

 

Occupational Health and Safety: To regard people as our most valuable asset in all our activities, to prioritize minimizing any potential losses by creating a safer and healthier work environment, to organize training sessions to ensure all employees are aware of their individual responsibilities regarding this matter, To comply with local laws, regulations, and requirements regarding Occupational Health and Safety; to create a communication environment where all employees can work in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety policy and to raise awareness about related initiatives; to identify occupational health and safety risks arising from our organization’s activities and to control these risks by reducing them to acceptable levels,

 

Environment and Energy:  To ensure the successful implementation of all energy and environmental initiatives, we prioritize raising employee awareness as a key focus area; to ensure the responsible and sustainable procurement and use of water and energy; and to minimize waste generated by our products and services—including effective waste management across all processes from supplier to end-use—

 

Sustainability: Managing economic, social, and environmental impacts to contribute to global sustainability goals, identifying the current situation, and making improvements aligned with these goals,

 

Business Ethics: Ensuring that all operations are conducted with integrity, respect for human rights, and by safeguarding the interests of employees and the environment,

 

Training: The company is committed to organizing external training programs to enhance employees’ awareness of occupational health and safety and to support their professional and personal development, thereby ensuring the company’s continuous growth through the development of its employees.

 

Intellectual and Industrial

 

Rights: Technocast does not grant suppliers any licenses, patents, industrial designs, or copyrights. Suppliers are required to reimburse any party that suffers damages due to intellectual property or industrial property rights infringements arising from the supplier’s actions for all costs, losses, and additional expenses, including penalties.

 

Information

 

Confidentiality: Suppliers comply with all policies aimed at protecting confidentiality without compromise and do not share confidential information with third parties.

 

Suppliers must accurately create, record, and retain all business-related information in full compliance with applicable legal requirements. Additionally, suppliers process the personal information of their employees, business partners, and customers to the extent permitted by law in order to improve their business processes and activities. They do not share this personal data with third parties without the consent of the data subjects.

 

During its audits of suppliers, Technocast assesses their compliance with the rules set forth in this Policy; where non-compliance is identified, corrective and preventive actions are initiated to address the issues, and follow-up audits are conducted to verify that the necessary improvements have been made.

 

Technocast may request the removal of any employee of a supplier who acts in violation of applicable laws or regulations or in conflict with these rules, or may terminate its contract with the relevant supplier.

 

Technocast encourages and expects its suppliers’ employees to report any non-compliance with this Policy.

 

Suppliers agree to accept any revised version of this Policy issued by Technocast and to comply with the principles set forth herein.
